Made to Remember

A new Quilting Friend!

I have met a new quilting friend from the Netherlands on Facebook.  She is a busy mom and loves to quilt when she can.  We have agreed to make a 12 x 12 Valentines Day quilt block to exchange.  I can't wait!  I have a pattern in my head I want to make for her, I just hope it goes into material as easy as this head imagines it will be.  Sieta, it is my pleasure to have met you and I hope we can continue our friendship in the years to come.  Gods Blessings to you.  Always.

Good Morning World!  What a wonderful day.  Snow on the ground, with more to come and the sun is so warm through the glass it is warming my body.  Thank you for this day Dear Lord!
On to the quilting...  I am in the process of swapping, with a bunch of gals, the Ricky Tims 3D Flying Geese block.  So far, we have swapped red, yellow, blue, green and purple.  Working on browns and the final two colors will be black and cream.  All with a WOW or White on White background.  I can't wait to get this swap done and start working on a layout for the geese.  I must thank the ladies with whom I have swapped.  It would not be a charming quilt without them and their hard work through all this as well.  THANK YOU!
